SCHG to lead 4th of July Parade – 1000 hours Start

The Stone County Honor Guard (SCHG) will carry the Colors for the Mountain View 4th of July parade.

Starting point will be at Avey`s garage on Franklin Ave., ending at Centennial Bank. SCHG members to meet at 0940 hours.. Parade to start at 1000 hours. Uniform will be class B (white shirt, patriotic flag tie, blue or black pants, blue cap issued by the SCHG).

SCHG will perform a Memorial Service with Full Military Honors for U.S. Army Veteran Charles Michael Low 1300 hours at Rosebud, AR

A Memorial Service with Full Military Honors will be provided for U.S. Army Veteran Charles Michael Low on Saturday,June 24, 2023 at 1300 hours.

The SCHG will provide a Soldiers Salute at 1300 hours at 198 Dogwood Trail, Rosebud, AR. All Military Honors will be conducted at this location.

SCHG will be posting colors for Veteran’s Appreciation Day – Independence County Fair 1000 hours

The Stone County Honor Guards (SCHG) will be posting colors for the Veteran’s Appreciation Day at the Independence County Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 10 at 1000 hours.

SCHG members are to meet at the SCHG Headquarters, 808 Oak Grove Street, Mountain View, AR on Saturday, June 10, 2023 for a 0830 hours departure. Uniform will be Class B (white shirt, tie, blue or black pants, blue cap issued by the SCHG). Weather: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. High 87F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50% Overcoat require.

SCHG will provide Full Military Honors for U.S. Air Force Veteran, James Edwin Lord (88) at the graveside at Blue Mountain Cemetery, Timbo, AR at 1100 hours

Memorial Day Flag ceremony at 0800 hours and again at 1200 hours in front of the Stone County Court House

The SCHG will be lowering the three flags at the War Memorial in front of the Stone County Court House to half mast on Monday, May 29 at 0800 hours.

At 1200 hours the SCHG will be raising the three flags to full mast. There will be small ceremony with the laying of a wreath, dual taps and the singing of the National Anthem by SCHG member Mikey Mullins.

SCHG members are to be at the Stone County Court House at 0745 hours and then again at 1145 hours. Uniforms will be Class B (blue or black pants, white shirt, blue or black tie, and SCHG issued blue cap).

A Memorial Service with Full Military Honors will be provided for U.S. Navy Veteran Ronald Peter Chaisson (75) on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 1400 hours.

The SCHG will provide a Soldiers Salute at 1400 hours at Arbanna Baptist Church, 7554 AR-5, Mountain View, AR. All Military Honors will be conducted at the church.
