The SCHG will provide a Soldiers Salute at 1000 hours on Saturday, July 01, 2023 at Roller Crouch Chapel, 405 S. Peabody, Mountain View, AR 72560. Interment will follow at the Historic Cemetery of Mountain View, West Main Street in Mountain View, AR 72560 with full military honors. SCHG members are to meet at the SCHG Headquarters, 808 Oak Grove Street, Mountain View, AR on Saturday, July 01, 2023 for a 0920 hours departure. Uniform will be Class B (white shirt, tie, blue or black pants, blue cap issued by the SCHG). Weather: Mostly cloudy. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High 98F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.

The Stone County Honor Guard (SCHG) will carry the Colors for the Mountain View 4th of July parade on Tuesday, July 4th.

Starting point will be at Avey`s garage corner of Franklin Ave. and Main St. and ending at Centennial Bank. SCHG members to meet at 0930 hours.. Parade to start at 1000 hours. Uniform will be class B (white shirt, patriotic flag tie, blue or black pants, blue cap issued by the SCHG).
