The Stone County Honor Guard (SCHG) is sponsoring a Ceremony for Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans event on Saturday, March 28 at 1000 hours. This event will take place at the American Legion Post 43, 1021 Park Ave, Mountain View, AR.
This ceremony is part of the State of Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs efforts to honor Vietnam veterans with a ceremony in each part of the state. Two speakers are confirmed so far. They are Vietnam Veteran Joel Breeding and Robert Huckleberry. Nathaniel Todd, Colonel (retired) U.S. Army director of the Arkansas Department, has been invited but not confirmed as third speaker for this event.
Food will be provided at the end of this event by the First Service Bank.
The SCHG members are to assemble at American Legion Post 43, 1021 Park Ave, Mountain View, AR on Saturday, 03/28/2020 at 0945 Hours. Uniform will be Class A.
