SCHG will be leading off the Mountain View Christmas Parade with the Colors on Saturday, December 2 for a 1730 hour start.
SCHG members are to assemble at First Security Bank by 1645 hours. The parade will start at First Security Bank on Main Street and will go west to MV City Hall. Uniform will be Class A (Blue sport coat, white shirt,blue or black tie, white gloves, and SCHG issued blue cap). Overcoat required.Weather: High near 50F. Chance or rain 40%.
SCHG to post colors at Foothills Baptist Church, 19935 Highway 5N, Mountain View on November 5, 2023 for a 1045 hours Veteran Appreciation Service.
SCHG members are to meet at the church by 1030 hours. Uniform will be Class A. Free lunch will be served for both the veterans and their wives.
SCHG to post colors at the Mountain View High School on Friday, November 10, at 1000 hours. Lunch will be served to veterans and their families after the Veterans program.
SCHG members to be on site by 0930 hours in Class A uniform. (Blue blazer, white shirt, tie, white gloves, and blue cap issued by the SCHG).
Full Military Honors will be provided for U.S. Marine Veteran, Edward Harris (83) on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at 1400 hours.
The SCHG will provide a Soldiers Salute at 1400 hours at Mountain View Funeral Service. 120 West Jefferson Street, Mountain View, AR. Interment will follow at Levisy Flat Cemetery in Mountain View, AR with full military honors. The GPS Coordinates for the cemetery are: Latitude: 35°54’19.4″N, Longitude: -92°06’10.5″W.

The SCHG will be hosting the 3rd Annual 9/11 Flag of Honor Across America. This will be a MEMORIAL of the 22th Anniversary of the 9/11/2001 attack of the twin towers in New York, NY The memorial will be held at the Stone County Courthouse on Monday, September 11 at 0946 hours (this is when the plane struck the first twin tower).
SCHG members are to be at the courthouse by 0830 hours. Uniforms will be Class A (Coat, White Shirt, Tie and White Gloves).
